Cyber Monday gaming deals 2021 - everything to expect in this year's sales
Cyber Monday gaming deals are gearing up for this weekend's second sale, as the savings roll straight through to November 29. While Black Friday gaming deals are still offering some excellent record low prices, we're confident many of these offers will still be alive and well for those who miss out on round one. That's perfect if you blank on the day, or if you're simply looking to make the most of the sales weekend.
We'll be rounding up all the best Cyber Monday gaming deals as soon as they land right here, but in the meantime we're serving up all our freshest predictions for the second annual sale.
Although recent games are likely to star in 2021's Cyber Monday gaming deals (big releases from the last few months usually get a discount of some kind and have certainly featured heavily in Friday's offers), accessories are going to be entering bargain territory too. Because headsets, hard drives, and beyond are often painful on the ol' bank balance, this weekend's offers will be the best time to pick up those peripherals.
With that in mind, we've got some tips below on what to expect from the Cyber Monday gaming deals when they finally arrive. Where should you start, and what should you prioritise? Let's dive in.

Cyber Monday gaming deals - what to expect
When will the Cyber Monday gaming deals start?
You can expect this year's Cyber Monday gaming deals to kick off on November 29. Because it's happening a couple of days after Black Friday, we're in for a busy weekend.
However, don't go thinking the offers end on Monday. Although the best ones will have wrapped up by then, it's really not uncommon to see discounts extend into the rest of the week. Indeed, the Cyber Monday gaming deals probably won't stop for rest until early December (at which point the good but less eye-catching Christmas reductions begin).
Cyber Monday gaming deals: what to expect
The easiest Cyber Monday gaming deals to find will likely be on games themselves this year, and even though a few old favorites are sure to be discounted again in 2021 (we're looking at you, Witcher 3), the best offers should be on games that are a little less long in the tooth. We're willing to bet that big hitters like Far Cry 6 and Battlefield 2042 will lead the pack in terms of savings this November - even if they're only dropping a handful of dollars. They're the biggest launches of fall, so we'd be astounded if retailers such as Amazon didn't capitalise on that with a small lightning sale during the event to drive traffic and revenue.
It's worth watching out for Nintendo Switch bundles too. They get claimed very quickly and usually feature old games, but they're offers with the best value for money you'll see. Plus, Switch consoles are hard to find at the best of times so any stock is a big deal.
If you're after Cyber Monday gaming headset deals, we'd recommend keeping an eye on the SteelSeries Arctis 7P and Turtle Beach Stealth 700 models for the highest value discounts. However, we should see more from the likes of Razer with the Barracuda X, BlackShark V2 Pro, and Nari Ultimate shedding some of their costs. We're always hoping for that first PS5 Pulse 3D headset discount in Cyber Monday PS5 deals as well.
For Cyber Monday monitor deals, we'll be watching the Samsung CRG9 for some premium action, but MSI Optix, LG UltraGear, and Alienware ranges should offer up some good action as well. These brands are all responsible for some of the best gaming monitors on the market, and some of these displays have spent enough time on the shelves to be primed for some heavier discounts.
If you're after controllers, we're expecting both Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals and Cyber Monday Xbox Series X deals to offer up some savings on official gamepads. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and Joy-Con sets have started dropping $10 or so off their MSRPs over the last year, so look set for a slightly larger saving in November. Meanwhile, on Microsoft's side, the Xbox Core controller released for Xbox Series X and S has already seen some significant discounts in its first year of release. Even during last year's Black Friday Xbox controller deals, this model dropped down to $39.99, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for a return to a record low price this year.
Will there be PS5 and Xbox Series X Cyber Monday gaming deals?
We aren't going to sugar-coat it for you; the likelihood of a PS5 restock or Xbox Series X restock during Cyber Monday is slim. Very slim.
To start with, stock is famously hard to come by. In addition, Monday rarely gets any sort of drop in the first place. Cyber Monday's proximity to Black Friday is the most damning factor, though. We'd expect most retailers to offer any deals they do have on Black Friday because it's a far bigger event with much more (digital) footfall.
Cyber Monday gaming retailers to watch this year
USA
Amazon: Traditionally the most reliable for variety and price-cuts
Currys: A source of regular console bundle discounts
Dell: Good variety on accessories and gaming hardware
Very: Console bundles often stay in stock longer here
Argos: Best for budget accessories with same day delivery
The Game Collection: Physical games receive excellent discounts
CDKeys: Super cheap digital PC games
Game: Save on merch, pre-owned games, and accessories
Cyber Monday gaming deals aren't going to be the only good offers this November - you can also look forward to what should be plentiful Cyber Monday board game deals and Cyber Monday Lego deals .
As the site's Tabletop & Merch Editor, you'll find my grubby paws on everything from board game reviews to Lego buying guides. I've been writing about games in one form or another for almost a decade (with bylines ranging from Metro.co.uk to TechRadar) and joined the GamesRadar+ team in 2018. I can normally be found cackling over some evil plan I've cooked up for my group's next Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
